Safari Troubleshooting

If your system meets our Minimum Specifications to Run Pandora, and you're still experiencing trouble playing Pandora on Safari, select one of the following options to learn how to troubleshoot common issues:

General Troubleshooting for Safari

If you're having trouble with Pandora on Safari, try opening it in a private window. If it works there, the issue may be caused by a browser setting or extension.

Please try the following steps to troubleshoot Pandora:

1. Update Safari.

2. Clear your browsing history in Safari.

   • Click History in the menu bar at the top of your screen.

   • Select Clear History from the dropdown menu.

   • A pop-up menu will appear, click the dropdown and select Clear All History.

3. Allow pop-ups for Pandora.

   • Visit the Pandora website.

   • In the top menu, click Safari, then select Settings.

   • Go to the Websites tab and look for Pop-up Windows in the left sidebar.

     • If you don’t see it, scroll down to the bottom of the list.

   • Locate Pandora in the list of websites and click the dropdown menu next to it. Select Allow to enable pop-ups.

4. Turn off extensions:

   • Disable HTML5 Autoplay, Adblock, and NoScript, or allow www.pandora.com within them. 

   • Click on Safari in the menu bar > Settings > Extensions.

5. Try a different browser like Google Chrome.

6. Restart your computer and go back to www.pandora.com.
