How to use Pandora on iPad
Tap the Pandora app on your iPad to launch Pandora and start listening.

If you have a Pandora account, select I have a Pandora account. Then, enter the email address and password you used to register with Pandora.
If you do not have a Pandora account select Sign Up. Fill in all required fields, check the acknowledgment of our Terms of Service, and tap Register.
If you do not know your password, select Forgot Password? You can also click here. You will then receive an email to your registered Pandora email address with instructions to change or reset your password.
Tap on the Create a New Station search field that is located at the top left corner. Type the name of an Artist, Song or Genre in the text-box. A list of search results will populate with similar names for you to select.
To preview and select our curated genre stations, instead of typing out a name in the search box, tap on the option to Browse Genre Stations that appears underneath the search field.
Select the name of the music you want to create your new station. Then your station will immediately start playing.
From your station list, swipe the name of the station you'd like to edit from right to left, then tap on the Thumb icon.
To remove seeds, find the seed name under the Station Created From list. Then, swipe the name from right to left and tap Delete.
You can add variety to the station by tapping the Add Variety button.
To edit the title or description of the station, tap the pencil icon to the right of the station title under Station Settings.
To edit thumbs, tap the numbered thumbs up or down icons, locate the thumbed track, swipe the track name from right to left and tap Delete.
To add variety to the currently playing station from the Now Playing screen, tap the small thumb icon in the upper right corner to view your Station Details.
From here, scroll down and tap Add Variety. You can type in an artist or track name, or choose one of the recommended seeds.
To add variety to a station in your Station List, swipe the station name from right to left, then tap the small thumb icon that appears, scroll down and tap Add Variety.
*Adding variety is not a possibility on Genre Stations.
To select which stations are played during Shuffle, swipe the Shuffle station title from right to left, then tap the pencil icon.
Select or deselect which stations you'd like to play in your Shuffle by Station or Genre.
Tap Done to save your changes.
You can find the option to select "I'm tired of this track" by tapping on the button with the three dots just below the album art window.
Remove and delete stations from your Station List by swiping the station name from right to left and tapping Delete.
There is no longer an in-app volume control for the Pandora app. You'll now need to use the main volume control buttons on the left side of your iPad to adjust the volume.
You can also adjust the volume using the native iOS controls. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and you'll be able to control the volume using the slider on the panel that appears.
While Pandora is playing, click the Home button to return to the desktop and select another app. Pandora will continue to play music in the background.
To view your Likes on your iPad, tap the silhouette in the bottom right corner of the Now Playing screen and tap Likes.
You can then choose whether you would like to see a list of your liked tracks, artists or albums.
Tap the Menu button just to the right of the current song information, toward the right-hand edge of the screen, and select the option you wish.
Purchased songs will show up in your iTunes Library.
To change the audio quality on your iPad, go to Settings in the bottom right corner, and select Advanced.
Under Cell Network Audio Quality, check the box for High Quality or uncheck for Normal Quality audio.
Pandora for iPad has a sleep timer you can set to make your station stop playing automatically after 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
From the Now Playing screen, open your Settings from the bottom right corner.
Tap Sleep Timer and select how many minutes you'd like the timer to wait before it pauses your station.

To update your account information, tap the gear symbol in the bottom right corner of the Now Playing screen. From there, tap Account and you can update all of your account information (including your email address and password). When you’re finished making your changes, tap on the Savebutton.
To change your privacy settings, tap the gear symbol in the bottom right corner of the Now Playing screen. Select Privacy then Pandora Profile.
Selecting Public will give you the option to allow other listeners to leave comments on your profile or stations.
Selecting Private will allow others to not view your profile or leave comments.
Tap the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the Now Playing screen. Then tap Account.To filter explicit content, switch the Allow Explicit Content option to Off.
To allow explicit content, switch the Allow Explicit Content to On.
Be sure to tap Save when you’re finished.
Enabling this filter will limit Pandora to playing music that could play on daytime broadcast radio. Note that this can only be applied to the entire account and NOT specific stations. Once set, this will restrict explicit content for that account on all devices, as well.
Double-tap the home button, and swipe through the apps to search for Pandora. Once you find Pandora, swipe the preview up and it will disappear. The app is now completely closed.
Open the app then select Settings from the bottom right corner. Your email address will be displayed next to the Account tab. At the bottom of the Settings menu, you'll see the option to Sign out of the current account.
Now you'll be able to sign in with a different email address and Pandora password.
*You should always sign out of Pandora before you sell, return or loan your iPad to anyone, as wiping the iPad or changing your Pandora password may not break the association between your account and that device.
