You can disable notices under the Settings section in the app.

If you are on the ‘Now Playing’ screen, touch the back arrow in the upper left corner (near the Pandora icon). Then select the ‘Settings’ tab. 

Tap on 'Notices' then uncheck the boxes next to the notices you no longer wish to receive, including ‘Tips’ from Pandora or notifications that you have new followers or comments.
