Alarm Clock for Pandora

Alarm Clock on Android Phone or Tablet:

Setting the Alarm on Android

 

To set your alarm, open the Pandora app, go to your Station List and tap the menu icon > Settings > Alarm Clock.

  1. Set the time and the station you’d like to wake up to.
  2. Choose what days of the week you'd like your alarm to repeat, or deselect all the boxes to repeat Never.
  3. Set the snooze option to 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes (optional).
  4. Set the volume for your alarm. This volume is independent from your device's system volume, so if you mute your device, the Pandora Alarm Clock will still play at this volume.
  5. Tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

When you are ready to go to sleep:

  • Make sure that you have a good cellular or wifi connection.
  • Make sure your device is plugged into a power source (recommended).

Using the Alarm with the Sleep Timer

 

Set the alarm before or after you set your Sleep Timer, and the alarm will still go off at the set time.

Waking and Snoozing on Android

 

To continue listening after the Alarm Clock goes off in the morning, simply tap the song/artist name at the bottom of the Alarm Clock screen, and it will turn off your alarm and take you to the Now Playing screen. If you turn off your alarm, your music will pause - just press play to begin streaming your music again.

 

Once your alarm goes off, the Alarm Clock will stay toggled On if you have set your alarm to repeat.

Troubleshooting Alarm on Android

 

If the Alarm Clock did not go off, or did not play your selected station, here are some potential causes:

  • You do not have cell or wifi connection
  • Your phone was not plugged into a power source

Setting your Alarm on an iPhone

Setting the Alarm

 

To set your alarm, go to your Station List go to your Station List and tap the menu icon > Settings > Alarm Clock.

  1. Set the time and the station you’d like to wake up to.
  2. Set the snooze option to 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes.
  3. Set the volume for your alarm. This volume is independent from your device's system volume, so if you mute your device, the Pandora Alarm Clock will still play at this volume.
  4. Tap Save.

When you are ready to go to sleep, open Settings and toggle the Alarm Clock Setting to ON. You must manually toggle this “ON” every time you want to use the alarm.

 

To ensure that your alarm clock sounds off at the chosen time and desired station, please check the following:

  • Make sure that you have a good cell or wifi connection
  • Your device is plugged into a power source (recommended)
  • Leave the Pandora Alarm Clock screen up and unlocked. Do not press the home button on your device nor turn the screen off.

***If you miss the last step, close the Pandora app, lock your device, or answer a call or text, make sure to return to the unlocked Pandora Alarm Clock screen before dozing off. An alarm will still sound if you do not, but not with your selected station, and only at the system volume setting.***

Using the Alarm with the Sleep Timer

 

You can also use the Sleep Timer in conjunction with the Alarm Clock – just set the Sleep Timer before you toggle the Alarm Clock on. As long as your screen remains on the Pandora screen and unlocked, the Sleep Timer will automatically switch to the Alarm Clock.

  • Leave the Pandora Alarm Clock screen up and unlocked. Do not press the home button on your device nor turn the screen off.

***If you close the Pandora app, lock your device, or answer a call or text, make sure to return to the unlocked Pandora Alarm Clock screen before dozing off. An alarm will still sound if you do not, but not with your selected station, and only at the system volume setting.***
