Safari Troubleshooting

If you prefer Safari as your browser, please try the following steps to troubleshoot Pandora:

  1. Update Safari.
  2. Clear your Cookies, Cache, and History.

    1. Click 'Safari' on the menu bar at the top of your screen and then 'Preferences.'
    2. Select the 'Privacy' tab.
    3. Click checkbox for 'Allow from websites I visit'
    4. Click 'Details' or 'Manage Website Data...'
    5. Type "Pandora" in the search box
    6. Click 'Remove All' and then click 'Done.'
    7. Restart the browser and go back to www.pandora.com
  3. Install the latest version of the Flash player using the appropriate link for your operating system: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

    (If you have an older Mac with the PowerPC processor, the highest version you can run is 10.1.102.64 – See here for archived versions: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/843750).

  4. If you have the latest Flash version installed, ensure that Flash is enabled to run on your browser:
    1. Click Safari on the menu bar > Preferences > Security tab.
    2. Ensure that Enable JavaScript is selected.
    3. Also, in this Security tab, make sure to bypass your Pop-up Blocker for Pandora. Under 'Web content,' check every option except 'Block pop-up windows.' (Only one check box appears, needs to be modified)
    4. Click on the Websites tab, find the Plug-ins section on the left column. Click on Adobe Flash Player and ensure that the setting under Configured Websites for Pandora is set to On. Your changes should take place after reloading the Pandora page in your browser.
  5. If you have the AdBlock extension, click the AdBlock icon on your tool bar and select "Don't run on this domain." Also, make Pandora an exception if you have the ClicktoFlash or ClicktoPlugin extensions.
  6. If you are using an internet firewall or anti-virus program, it could be blocking portions of our site. Try allowing access to www.pandora.com within those programs, and then try visiting our site again. If this doesn't help, try disabling such programs entirely as a test to see if this affects your issue.
  7. Finally, if your issue persists, restart your computer and go back to http://www.pandora.com
